Predazzo is the most populated centre in Valle di Fiemme. Both a summer and winter resort, it is rich in history, tradition and culture. Worth visiting the Geological-Ethnographic Museum, the two churches and the ski jumping stadium (the famous venue of the 1991 World Championships and those planned for 2003). The connection to the Ski Center Latemar skiing area via the Predazzo-Gardonč gondola is important. 6 km away, on the road to Rolle pass, lies Bellamonte, a summer and winter tourist resort at an altitude of 1372 m (particularly with the lifts of the Bellamonte-Alpe Lusia ski area), pleasantly situated among fields in Valle del Travignolo and distinguished by its "tabiā" (old haylofts). 5 km away is the Paneveggio Nature Park with its visitor centre (nature museum).
