Nestling at an altitude of 1.644 m Gressoney La Trinitè is the highest village in the Lys Valley. It is renowned both for winter sports and for the many trips to the Monte Rosa. Its most appealing characteristics are the warm welcome and the breathtaking view the village offers. You’ll be amazed by the typical Walser houses (Walser is the name of the original inhabitants), the so-called stadel, buildings made of wood and stone, lying on short mushroom-shaped pillars.From here you can leave on your skis and ski through the three valleys of the Monterosa Ski area, down more than 200 km slopes for all tastes.
