Folgaria is an important winter and summer resort: in summer time it is an ideal place for relax, sport, walks and excursions; in winter time it is a modern ski area called Skitour dei Forti, that offers 60 Km of downhill ski slopes with 6 chair-lifts of four places. It is the most important ski area of the Southern Trentino, far 18 Km from Rovereto and 25 from Trento. Also fans of nordic ski will not disappoint: the Highlands offer three of the more renowned cross-country ski centres in all the Alpine area, where important international competitions take place.
