The built up area of Cannero Riviero, on the Lake Maggiore, surrounded by a tropical vegetation, is situated on a promontory. Small, but delightful resort, it has the benefit of a natural inlet, it is always sheltered from the cold winds, even in winter. The climate condition is very mild and permits a premature flowering, which, in spring, turns the village into a big flowery terrace, widely opened on the Lake Maggiore. In fact the promenade is the meeting place of tourists, who love walking along it, stopping and admiring the panoramic view.
