Its varying scenery and colours makes Baunei one of the most interesting territories not only in the Ogliastra region, but also on the entire island. Its multi-shaped environment spreads over two of the most important natural monuments in Sardinia: the Supramonte and the Gennargentu. Baunei boasts spectacular panoramas and lush, colourful forests enriched by fauna e flora. It's the largest territory in Ogliastra and extends to the sea, offering the visitor its natural beauties such as the Cala Goloritzè to the Cala Luna coastline; ripped stacks overlooking the sea like Punta Pedra Longa otherwise known as "Agugliastra" and the nearby seaside village of S. Maria Navarrese.
