COMMENTO:
We spent 3 nights at The President Hotel Splendid in july 2011. The rooms were spacious, clean and cool and the bathroom huge. The breakfast buffet had a really good selection of eggs, youghurts, breadrolls etc. and the hotel is located close to shops and restaurants and close to the cable car to the beach. Very helpfull staff.

COMMENTO:
President Hotel Splendid is perfectly located in walking distance to the main shopping thoroughfare, restaurant and cafes, roman ampitheatre, botanical gardens and cable cart which takes you down to the beach as well as the bur terminal which you ride up into the old town overlooking Toarmina. The rooms are comfortable, each with a great view overlooking the ocean in fact you can take lovely photos from your personal yet small verandah. The bathrooms have all necessities you would want and great water pressure in the shower! A buffet breakfast is served in a lovely restaurant with wonderful views. The hosts are friendly, helpful and know basic English, far better than my Italian. I recommend this hotel for your Taormina stay.
