Poggio al Sole lies in the midst of the magnificent scenario of the Florentine hillsides, and leans over the Mugnone valley. It rests on a 450 m hill, 6 kilometers from Fiesole in a locality called Torre di Buiano, along the province road # 54, called "dei Bosconi". We left the original country features of the two buildings that constitute the farm; luckily both the farmhouse and the barn were kept unchanged until nowadays. Olive and cherry groves, and vines surround the old farmhouse and the stone barn. The name recalls the sunny position that Poggio al Sole enjoys from dawn to sunset, in winter as in summer.
