Our farmstead is situated between vines and fields half-way from Sant'Evasio Hill, on the side where the sun sets. We are approximately half a mile away from the Nizza-Canelli road.The farmstead first belonged to the Counts of Calamandrana, then to the Veggi of Castelletto, who chose it and established a burial ground for the aristocracy-now suppressed. The place was registered as Romana even in the oldest statutes.

The Cascina del Forte is in Torre Pellice, the cradle of the Waldensian religion and Venue City for the 2006 Turin Winter Olympic Games. Immersed in green at the foot of the Cottian Alps, Torre Pellice offers a perfect blend of culture and nature. The 'Cascina del Forte', which offers bed & breakfast, dates to the early nineteenth century. It has recently been finely renovated in full respect of the original features of the building and of the local architecture. The farmhouse is located on the Collina del Forte, which separates Val Pellice from Val d'Angrogna; it is in one of the most panoramic and picturesque spots of the entire region.
