COMMENTO: I stayed in Amarcord with my husband for 7 days. We choose this B&B because we wanted some place to stay in Rome which was close to the historical center, which was not expensive and that was a respectable place to stay. It is really close to Colosseum and to Termini station. This way we could visit Rome by walking as planned. It is also very quiet. We could sleep very well there without being disturbed by other guests or by noisy people on the streets. Breakfast was simple, but nice, room was the same as showed on the pictures on the website. Comfortable, with airconditioner, a clean bathroom, hot water and even a mini refrigerator was available. Towels were replaced each 2 days (suggestion - include that clearly in the rules of the B&B). The best thing about Amarcord is Mr. Anselmo, a ~80 years old man that welcomed us, explained how to reach the main attractions and important points in Rome. We felt like home. He was really supportive and attentive. We had an issue there and he solved that very quickly and went to our room to explain what happened. It was very nice of him! My only point for improvement is the cleaning of the room. There was a lot of dust under the bed as it was not being sweeped for a long time. Of course it was all over the room after the 2nd day, and the "little clean room service" was not removing even the visible part of that. Improving that, I would rate Amarcord as 10! I would recommend this B&B for the ones that want to visit Rome.

COMMENTO: Hey, My grandmother and I stayed at Amarcord for a total of three nights during September. We took a train from Fiumicino airport which took us directly to Termini Station which is situated 5 minutes away from Amarcord. After we had walked for five minutes we got to the b&b and where given a warm welcome. The room we where given was very clean and spacious and with a private bathroom. It also had airconditioning and a satellite TV FULL of channels. We left our luggage there and took off for Rome! The closest underground was about 3 minutes away from the b&b. The second day we woke up and had breakfast at a confectioner around the corner. Croissants and tea or coffe. On our last night there we where asked if we could change rooms. This made no difference to us so we accepted. The room we where given was bigger and more spacious than the first one. It was also themed and decorated with pictures and old radios. We then walked it to the station at 5:30am and caught the 5:52am train to Fiumicino airport and went back to Malta. We really enjoyed our stay at this b&b and would definately recommend it to my friends who visit and would return to Amarcord in my future holidays there as it is very central with easy access to the rest of the eternal city.

COMMENTO: The B & B was quite old and the neighborhood was the same vintage. The rooms did show its age. Could have used a coat of new paint. The location was very convinent and close to many of the places we visited. A few blocks from the Rome Station. The host Gianluca was very helpful and friendly with many tips about what to see do including restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was just around the corner. Gianluca always reminded us to call him for whatever reason. I would recommend this B & B if not only because of Gianluca. The price was reasonable for the location. We visited here in September of 2010.

COMMENTO: Ottimo alloggio, a 2 passi dal centro e vicino alla stazione. Camere pulite ed esattamente come da foto!!!! Proprietario cordialissimo e disponibilissimo (anche nei giorni festivi). Se non siete mai stati a Roma e non sapete dove andare a mangiare seguite i suoi consigli e non ve ne perntirete..."da fabrizio" a Trastevere 10 e lode!!!!!!!!! Grazie mille!!!!

COMMENTO: The room is very comfortable, and with a great location, the breakfast would be better it were a little more, any way the food is very good, very good price quality ratio. And the best was the attention received, it was very easy to get the place thanks to the recommendations of Mrs. Consolata Sodaro, and the sr. who showed us the room was very kind. My wife and I would return.
