COMMENTO: Home: warm and friendly. The owner is friendly and made us well informed about Rome.
Room: small but clean and quiet location.
Beds: twin very small and quite hard but we slept well.
Bathroom: very little but adequate. You should add 1 bar more to hang towels.
Breakfast: we prepare ourselves because the owner does not live on site. There was everything we need, no problem, it was good. Nice small kitchen. You should add a few dishes and a few spoons, knives, forks, teaspoons.
Location: Conveniently located close to the station and the subway.
Price in relation to the room.
We enjoyed our stay in cicca2 and in Roma and we thank Marina and Christina.

COMMENTO: Great location and great place to stay. I strongly recommend it for travelers who are looking for a relaxing place to stay while seeing the sights of Rome. Clean, safe and conveniently located near public transportation and tourist locations. The owners were onsite to greet me, made sure my room was clean, and that I had food available for breakfast.

COMMENTO: We were a group of 6 friends and stayed for 2 nights at Chicca 2, wish we could've stayed longer!
Great location, near metro station and quite central. If you are taking a cab, it will has to stop at the junction about 25m away and not at the doorstep as there's no curb for a taxi to simply stop there.
The owners are VERY helpful in informing us the necessary info, providing maps of rome for our ease. We requested for breakfast supplies according to our dietary restrictions (no meat products/byproducts/alcohol), so Ms Christina & Marina helped to check the ingredients for us and took away some of the biscuits etc that we couldn't have, replacing them with other items fulfilling our requirements. We even requested for some pasta, and was able to cook our own dinners at home in addition to breakfast. The house was clean and complete with necessary appliances, although some looks a bit 'dated'. The wifi internet worked well and we were nicely connected throughout our stay.
Things that we really think should be improved would be the towels provided - they are a bit coarse and hard, as well as the kettle which are missing the 'whistling' mechanism - thus we need to closely watch whether the water is already boiling.
All in all though, we enjoyed our stay at Chicca 2 very much and thank Ms Christina & Marina for being such good hosts and keeping a nice house for people to stay at :)

COMMENTO: Chicca 2 was a very nice bed and breakfast. We had the great luck of being the only people staying there so we had the apartment all to ourselves. It might be a little too close of quarters with other people there. You do have to make your own breakfast. The food is provided, whatever you want, but you have to prepare it. The owners were very nice and accommodating.

COMMENTO: Chicca 2 Location
Its a perfect location, there are rows of restaurants, indian, western, chinese for food. There are also 2 supermarket at the end and the other side of the Roma Termini. Roma Termini is less than 5 minutes walk with shops and other convenience store. There is exchange currency offices and western union or moneygram, if needed. The hop on hop off bus (the many brands), is walking distance as well, just the opposite road at the front of the Roma Termini. The trains in Roma Termini would take you to many many places around Italy, pompeii, venice, milan, florence etc ...
Sightseeing, we did walk from Trevi Fountain back to our apartment, a slow nice walk takes about 45 mins with lots to see. Even Colloseo is very near again, it takes 45 mins as well from apt.
It takes about 1 - 1.5hrs from the Fiumicino Airport and about 30-45mins to Ciampino Airport (depend on traffic).
Chicca 2 Apartment
Its a house that has 2 masterbedroom and 1 single bedroom. Each room has en-suite toilet which is very good when all is getting ready to get out. Enough pots and pans, cups, cutleries in the kitchen for 4.5 people (I am travelling with hubby, sister + hubby and my 20mths active toddler!). Marina and Christina ensures that we have enough breakfast in the fridge (orange juices, jams/butter, eggs, milk, yogurt) and the cabinet (biscuits, bread, lots of other things), which is fantastic!! If there is a microwave, that would be very great!
It is very clean, we have a TV in each room (though all in Italian, but their version of MTV is good as they play English songs). you will need to bring your own toiletries, me and hubby is fine using their towels but i brought extra towels from home for my baby as the towels there is a little hard.
Water, though it is potable, not advisable for little children, we are fine but my girl is not use to the water as after boiling, we can see white sediments so we did bought extra
bottled water for drinking.
There is a lift up (though very ancient type, which we had fun with) so if you have big luggages, no problem.

Very near to the Roma Termini, supermarket, shopping area and restaurants. All is within walking distance. Super fantastic.
Apartment/Rooms
Very clean and the kitchen have the basic utensils that we need. A microwave will be great to have :-p
There is a lift so that is very good, you dont have to tugged your luggage up the flight of stairs.
Despite the water is potable, some of us have delicate stomach that cause a lot of discomfort so if you are sensitive, "natural" water in bottles should be preferred.
Hop on Hop off
Its very near the front entrance (opposite the road) and you can see 3 or 4 types of the hop on hop off bus. Though all is reasonably walking distance however, this is a better choice so that you wont be spending your vacation lost.
Marina/Christina
Fantastic service, they bought enough to feed all of us for breakfast during our stay and they asked if we have any preferance which is very kind.

COMMENTO: This B&B was a 10 in many respects but its location, while perfect for us may not be to the liking of everyone. Chicca II is easy to find within walking distance to the Terminii and public transportation; it was a very safe location. The area is diverse, with many Asians, mostly Chinese and Indians. For us, the location was fantastic; we found neighborhood restaurants and bakeries that were excellent and where there were many locals. We could walk to all the major sites and best of all, take the train to Naples and Sorrento. The B&B hosts were warm, friendly, helpful and just plain great. You should call them first because they meet you at the B&B and let you in. They provide breakfast foods galore and will gladly provide what you may need or want. The kitchen was ideal and I loved making my expressos. The rooms were clean and pretty. The courtyard was full of light and provided a neighborly feel with laundry hanging and the sounds of cooking; at the same time none of it was intrusive or annoying.
We plan a return to Rome and we would stay at Chicca II again.

COMMENTO: We enjoyed our stay at Chicca 2. We were close to the main train station and within fair walking distance to a lot of Rome's attractions. The B & B is very quaint and comfortable.
We would stay there again.

COMMENTO: We are very pleased and happy to have chosen CHICCA 2 B & B option for our stay. Marina and Christina were very kind and helpful. They made available a map and showed us how to get about in Rome and also the accommodation is very close to the Roma Termini Station and also Vittorio Emmanuele metro station. Both stations are only a couple of minutes away and so transport is extremely easy. Very good for family and friends and also breakfast was good as Marina and Christina kept the refrigerator stocked up. Would recommend to anyone traveling as a family or group of friends.

COMMENTO: absolutely loved chicca 2- rooms lovely, kitchen fully rquipped and so much food provided. a peaceful and tranquil space after a busy day in rome. the location is fantastic - close to everything but very quiet. and a huge thankyou for allowing my sister and her husband to leave their cases there whilst they went to the amalfi coast for a couple of days. would definitely recommend chicca 2 and italia lodging for their regular communiction to me. thankyou again sharyn, denise and ian from australia

COMMENTO: It was a great pleasure to stay in such a cozy, quiet, very clean, family type hotel. The location of the hotel allowed us to fully enjoy Rome athmospere and to reach easily significant places of the city. VERY nice and friendly hostess gave us good advices where to have dinner and how to reach any place the cheaper. :)
We would like to recommend this hotel for those who like to travel and enjoy not tourist Rome!

COMMENTO: Located in a new and upscale apartment building, this place was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I booked a last minute stay in Rome and just loved staying here. It felt like we had our own apartment in Rome. We had a large, private room that was well-decorated and clean at a very affordable price. Right next to our bedroom was a kitchen that we could use for quiet breakfasts before a day of adventures. Lots of privacy. (We even returned to cook ourselves lunch!) I highly recommend staying here --- it was one of the nicest stays I've ever had.

COMMENTO: Perfect location, very near Metro Station Termini (A) or Vittorio Emanuele (B). Bus 71 right on the street, only a block down, going to Piazza S. Silvestro - easy access to Fontana de Trevi, Piazza di Spagna. The building's facade is the newest one on the block and it has a lift (believe me, it's important after walking for miles and miles all day...). The lady who owns the appartement and her daughter are very nice, they gave us a good briefing of the basic needs: transports, supermarket, a city map. Very nice double bedroom, altough the air conditining didn't work - in June we could pass without but I guess in August it must be a different story... the breakfast is self prepared in the common kitchen. The goods were put in the cabinets and in the fridge on arrival, but they didn't renew them everyday and the amount of some items (like fresh eggs/milk, for instance) was short for the 3 bedrooms (full capacity - 6 persons). On the other hand, we could actually use the kitchen to cook lunch/dinner, had we wanted to, providing a cheaper alternative for meals.
Overall, it was a very good experience, and if I ever go back to Rome, I would definitley stay at La Cicca2 again.
Also, a big note of Thank You to the eficiency and kindness of Italialodging professionals, who made the whole process very easy.

COMMENTO: Lovely place to stay in a nice apartment with good size room. The owners were very friendly and extremely accomodating. Good location for the termini station but a little further from the hot spots of Rome.
The room was airy and clean. Bathroom facilities were good and breakfast was provided. Overall it was a lovely stay.

COMMENTO: If you're looking for a place to stay in Rome, we highly recommend Chicca 2. Our stay was a very pleasant one. Marina and Christina were very accommodating and the room was clean and they met our needs. The location is 4 blocks from the central train station and is close to most of the historical sites in Rome. For those who want to do a little shopping, we recommend taking either the bus or the metro to shopping district (2 metro stops from the train terminal). We will recommend this B&B to our friends!
