Borgo di Villa Castelletti
Comfort and tradition just a few kilometres from Florence

Located in the hills to the west of Florence, right in the centre of an age-old park and in the middle of lush green countryside, the Villa Castelletti complex is a great place to visit. On offer here you have a lovely little town and the quiet and peaceful location makes this the ideal place for staying while away on work, for meetings and congresses. The position of the town is second to none: it is just a few kilometres from Florence and yet is immersed among the splendid Tuscan countryside, famous the world over for its agricultural products, such as wines and oils.

The town, then, located at the feet of the Villa, consists of a series of colonial homes and connected structures, which were built as far back as the Seventeenth Century. The first colonial home, called "La Burraja", was originally constructed as a kiln and works for the production of bricks then used to build the Villa and owes its name to the main subsequent use, the production of butter using age-old skills and traditions. Other activities were also carried out here, of course, such as breeding of sheep and production of wine and vinsanto sweet wine.

"La Burraja" now consists of 20 small and extremely charming apartments. Inside these apartments, you will find all mod cons and yet the authentic style of the "old Tuscan country home" has been maintained in tact, boasting the charm and atmosphere of the old walls lived in by generations of people who lived and loved the surrounding lands.

The suites, which are all individually dedicated to a particular artist, consist of a dining room, a double size split-level bedroom, a mini-kitchen unit and a bathroom. All the suites have centralised heating and air-conditioning systems, satellite TVs and Pay TV options.

Breakfast is served in the Breakfast room or, when the weather is nice, on the lovely outdoor portico.

"Borgo di Villa Castelletti" also offers guests here an outdoor swimming pool, mountain bike rental services, cooking courses and the chance to go on wonderful food and drink tours of the surrounding farms.

Villa Castelletti and the town are surrounded by a stunning 10-hectare park, where you can go for lovely relaxing walks in the shade created by tall trees and plants. You will arrive, then, at a little lake, the ideal spot for a picnic or to enjoy a wonderful sunset.
