| A farmhouse on the top of a hill to enjoy an unforgettable view |
Alessandra Negretto has recently created a confortable farmhouse in a large farmhouse on the San Giacomo hill, built in the early 1900s for the Counts of Porcia. The rooms are simply yet elegantly furnished, with extensive use of wood.
A buffet breakfast is served in a large room with a fireplace in the middle and consist of freshly baked bread, jams and excellent cakes made by the owner, locally made honey and, on request, savory fare.
The house is sorrounded by fields, fruit and olive trees and small shady woods for romantic walks. Visits to the local archeological museum and the nearby Tagliamento Park are not be missed.
You'll also find it hard to resist the temptation to taste the famous San Daniele ham.
