A romantic, panoramic and, above all, relaxing place. Staying here means treating yourselves to a real luxury: enjoying your time in harmony with nature, amongst calm and silence. A silence which is only broken by the rustling of the wind in the leaves.

A bridge can be crossed to reach the entrance and to get away from the stress of the city. You walk straight into a big well-lit veranda which gives an impression of relaxing and creative activities: writing and painting. The kitchen where breakfast is made is warm and welcoming. In the meantime, in the rustic, intimate and wood-panelled dining-room, a huge table is ideal for long conversations.

The guest rooms are warm and familiar, furnished with taste, style and old items. The colours and materials used follow the principles of bio-architecture.

In the living room on the ground floor, the imposing fireplace stands out and seems to suggest evenings talking about past trips and sharing past experiences. The large windows give out onto the garden, blessed by the sun and enriched by fruit and flowers: azalea, wisteria, mimosa, ortensia and camellia. The panorama, the architecture and the calm: everything makes you feel in harmony with nature.

The friends who will look after you live right beside the chalet. They are a very special team. He has worked in the past as a psychoanalyst and his main initiatives are in the psychological field. He is an expert and teacher in the education of sentiments. She is a psychotherapist and a writer. After working for years in the metropolis of Milan, they decided to move to the lake in 1986. A deep look at themselves and the need to express themselves creatively led to the "Il Giardino di Alice", a new road in a long journey. They put all their experience into assisting with all the matters which arise for individuals and groups alike, whether you enjoy this "Creative Hospitality" during the week or at the weekend. There are no fixed meetings or rigid programs but the couple is available to listen to all your requests. This freedom of choice may also be considered a luxury for today's men and women.
