The old cottage of Mezzavia is situated in the heart of Crete Senesi, on the top of a hill, and it offers a splendid viewpoint over the wonderful and varied landscape,which changes each season.

All the apartments are spacious, maintaining the original Tuscan rustic features with beamed ceilings and tuscan terracotta floors of period and using traditional antique furniture.

The imposing walled buildings provide the interior with a natural and comfortable air conditioning. Mezzavia is surrounded by cities of art such as Montalcino, S.Quirico d'Orcia, Pienza, Montepulciano, Asciano, San Gimignano e Siena,and is also in the centre of most important wine producing areas in Tuscany: Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico and Nobile di Montepulciano.

An adjacent building called "the old stables" has been restructured and provides the ideal place for meetings, conferences, private parties and weddings.
