La Rocchetta was born in 1760 as a hut on the right bank of the river Po, called Po di Primaro, becaming later on a farm. La Rocchetta farm holidays began in 2000, arising from the idea and desire of Franca and Romano to offer a return to nature and the best traditions, in a world that is losing the link with its environment, the culture of previous generations and the natural rhythm of the seasons.

The desire to rediscover feelings, sensibility and pleasure of the life are not a wish to return to the past, but a desire to rediscover and appreciate the complexity of our history making our farm holiday a bridge linking the past to the future.

In the countryside of Ferrara, close to the historic Renaissance centre of the Estense city but far from roads of heavy traffic, here at La Rocchetta among lime, elm, ash, acacia trees and green fields, you can spend pleasant time in a natural relaxing environment. You will find the herb garden, the organic vegetable garden and you are advised, during the placid spring sunsets, to take a stroll in the countryside, among the sounds and smells of this typical Po valley landscape.

We take care of your proposing a big range of jams, passata of tomatoes, fruit juices, strictly home-made. The fruits BIO cultivated in the farm is trasformed by the able hands of Franca into genuine jams, carrying you to the memories of a delicious hand-made products, presenting you sweet dream breakfasts.
