San Sano is a small charming hotel in Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico area, Tuscany. Our guesthouse lies in the middle of Tuscany where the Chianti grapes have been cultivated for centuries. The building itself was renovated from a 13th century fortress. One can easily visit the nearby historic cities of Florence, Siena und Arezzo.

Our pool and the surrounding garden invites you to spend a day of relax enjoying the beautiful panorama of the Chianti-hills and the 150km distant Monte Amiata.
In the evenings our restaurant (closed on sundays) is open for houseguests. We cook a traditional three-course tuscan meal wich you can book every morning. If you prefer to visit one of the restaurants nearby we are glad to help you with the booking.
For breakfast (8-10) we offer a bountyful buffet with typical local products.
Charming little villages and houses can be discovered by walking through the surrounding area and the major cultural and historical centres like Siena, Florence, Arezzo etc. can be easily reached by car.
