A luxury Boutique Hotel hidden on the second floor of a 17th century Neapolitan palazzo overlooking the sea. Small, private, personal, Micalò has been created from the warm natural materials of southern Italy to conceive an atmosphere of calm serene luxury. Stone collected from the Partenopean beaches predominates throughout, either as decorative art or more functionally in the beautifully designed bathrooms.

In each of the luxury duplex rooms the elegant stone bathrooms look down on the airy high-ceilinged bedrooms. All are equipped with originally designed furniture, plasma TV, Sky, Wi-fi, i-pod stations (on request) 100% linen sheets, luxury bath products, fluffy towels and bathrobes, mini bar, hair dryer, Ploh hypoallergenic goose feather pillows and duvets and a 'Good Night chocolate'!
Micalò can be found in the more elegant part of central Napoli on the Riviera di Chiaia.
Overlooking the sea, the park Villa Comunale and Tennis Club Napoli, it is only 5mins walk away from some of the best shopping (Armani, Todds, Prada and other fashionable boutiques) the most sought after restaurants and bars, Mergellina Port (aliscafi for the islands), Mergellina Station (mainline to Rome etc), as well as being close to many tourist attractions such as Castel dell'Ovo, Maschio Angioino, Pan modern art gallery and local markets for clothes and fruit (apx 10mins walk). Most of the tourist attractions inside the city area are accessible within a 30 minutes on foot or much less by bus or taxi.
From Capodichino airport it is 25minutes by taxi. There is an airport bus service that will take you to the centre from where it is a 10 minute taxi ride.
