Furore is at seven km from the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, among scenic country routes winding it's way through the narrow valleys and gorges of the Costiera Amalfitana. The cliffs are intensely cultivated with vineyards and olives by local farmers. The name Furore originates from the furious and deafening sound of the waves breaking onto the cliffs. What you will notice first while strolling along the alleys in Furore are the numerous murals and frescos on public buildings and private houses.
