"Corte del Ronchetto" ("Courtyard") is located in Ronchetto delle Rane (Frogs), in Milan. Among the farmhouses of the South Agricultural Park, in a condition which is practically unique in the city, among the peace and quiet of the countryside but close to the city due to the quick and efficient public transport means, the position of "Corte del Ronchetto" is the perfect mix for combining work and relaxation.

The home is an old building which dates back to the 16th Century looking onto a countryside courtyard. The old agricultural town is surrounded by wheat fields and rice fields, which is where the reference to the frog comes, as their croaking goes side by side with the chirping of crickets on long summer nights. The amazing panorama from the windows of Corte del Ronchetto is a typical Po valley agricultural landscape: you will be charmed by the endless fields marked out by the irrigation lines and the irrigated meadows running as far as the eye can see to the lovely hills beyond the Po near Pavia (the "Oltrepò Pavese" region).

Thanks to the recent restructuring of the old colonic home, the atmosphere here is simple yet elegant, warm and welcoming and highly functional, with a clever use of old furniture, made new due to skilful restoration

The rooms are furnished with taste and the bathrooms have showers and hydro-massage bathtubs. When the weather is cold, breakfast is served in the large and well-lit living room, right by the fire, while in Spring and Summer, guests here can enjoy it among the nice smells and colours in the garden.

As well as the shopping centres all around here, near to Corte del Ronchetto you will not one but two Golf Clubs: Mirasole and Tolcinasco, a horse riding centre, the Vismara sports centre, "Fila Forum", home to sports events and other events, and several swimming pools.

Take a tram to the Milan Auditorium where you can hear some great classic music in a place with amazing acoustics.

In Milan yet in the heart of the countryside, Corte del Ronchetto is the perfect place for relaxing and walking in the fresh air (or you can use the bikes provided by the owners here): for a few days, you can forget all about the chaos and drabness of city life.
