Tuscany - Pienza - bed and breakfast

Right in the centre of the splendid Valdorcia Nature Park, you will find Monticchiello, a small medieval town which is a little jewel sandwiched in between amazing valleys and cypress trees. Although it is away from the crowded tourist sites and towns, Monticchiello is the perfect starting point to get to art cities like Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena and San Gimignano, in no time at all. The bed and breakfast, "La Casa di Adelina", is in the town square, in a fine Seventeenth-Century building. This completely-restructured house still maintains its history and memories intact, however: the kitchen has a marble table, straw-bottomed chairs, copper pots and pans ..… just like the old days. The cosy rooms, then, are extremely charming.

All the rooms are finely furnished with ancient furniture and also boast all mod cons. The bed and breakfast has 4 guest rooms and two bathrooms.

The home has been restructured recently but still maintains its original style, of which we here are extremely proud. You will simply love the comfortable bedrooms and the living room, the fine bathrooms and the real jewel here: a lovely modern kitchen which still boasts all its original utensils and furnishings.
