The Borgo Antico is part of a building which, as far back as 1200, was owned by the Countess Matilde di Canossa. It has been reconstructed in recent years, under the supervision of the Bologna "Belle Arti" Fine Art Protection Board, respecting the architectural features of the Medieval Town of which it was part and using high-quality materials for the finishing touches, such as wood, Tuscan terracotta and old stone. It is located in an area in the hills, in an extremely quiet position; on the open terrace, you can enjoy a view onto the garden as you spend some quality time relaxing in total comfort.

The Bed & Breakfast furnishing and layout has been designed to bring out the best of this particular kind of environment as much as possible and does not lack in charm.
Two rooms are available and they can be used either as single rooms or double rooms, as required by the guests. They are located in the night zone with a small free area and a bathroom. The guests can also make use of the lounge with television and ceramic timber stove.
As they are passionate wine and food lovers, the staff will treat you to the local specialities, both during breakfast or if you take up the chance to have dinner in their company.
