The Conca d'oro Hotel was founded in 1949 from an idea of Giovanni Cappiello. An ancient villa in Positano, in the middle of a beautiful garden full of orange and lemon trees. Guests love the setting of the hotel surrounded by Mediterranean scents and colours. Since its foundation, the Hotel has been owned by the same family. The houses, one on top of the other, the narrow streets - with the numberless boutiques - descends rapidly between the houses, like floods through the rocky mountain passes, and they all flow out on the main beach " Spiaggia Grande". From there it may be the only place where the view behind your shoulders above the village is more beautiful than the view over the sea in front of you.
