From here, the whole city and its wonderful sites are within walking distance. Don't miss Saint Peter's Square, Castel S. Angelo, Piazza Navona or the characteristic Trastevere area. The Borgo area itself is safe and has very little traffic. It is teeming with nice little restaurants and "trattorie" with genuine Roman cuisine, lovely arts and crafts shops and top night spots.
