The apartments and rooms are in a characteristic local Tuscan country house and the annexed hay barn, restructured in 1999 in compliance with the local traditions and architecture. The Poggiopiano Farm offers various types of apartments, lodging only. All the rooms and the apartment have private bathrooms.
All the rooms are well heated and some of the apartments have just a fireplace, for lovely week breaks or week-ends, in Winter too!
A round 9-meter diameter swimming pool can be used by our guests in the Summer.
Lovely hill walks and trips with views of the Arno valley and Florence are a great chance to see amazing landscapes, even on mountain bikes, which you can hire nearby.
It is just one km to the terminus for the bus which leaves every 15 minutes for Florence and to the entrance to the motorway for getting to Siena, Pisa and Lucca while Arezzo is just 6 km away.
At the local restaurants, then, you can enjoy delicious local Tuscan cuisine.
The Poggiopiano Farm produces wine and extra virgin olive oil, following the dictates of Organic Farming: you can taste these here at the Farm, as well as Chianti Grape Grappa liquor.
This Farm, then, is the ideal place for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a while and get back to enjoying traditional tastes for a few days, as well as the sweet landscapes offered by the wonderful Tuscan countryside.
