The Case Colomba home is among the hills of Eastern Sicily in a magnificent position near the old road from Erice to Segesta. This rural building, dating back to the end of the Ninth Century, has been recently, and cleverly, restructured with no alteration to its original features. The home is surrounded by a lush fruit grove which offers a wide variety of fruit all year round (different seasons, different fruit) and you can purchase other local produce from the farmers nearby. This is a unique opportunity to visit the countryside around Trapani, a hinterland which seems to have been painted, rich as it is in ancient estates which you will have great fun discovering: an enchanting trip coloured by history and nature. This is a truly spectacular part of Sicily, with the magic of its sunsets and the unique feeling of finding yourself beneath age-old temples.

Case Colomba is surrounded by a whole series of buildings. The Guest Wing has its own independent entrance, a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room and two bedrooms for a total of 8 bed spaces. Guests will also be provided with full-ranging documentation for choosing your trips in the area.

Anna and Fabio, the Case Colomba residents, love nature but also travelling. It was during one of their trips that they had the idea of opening their doors to those who, like them, love to discover new places, meet new people and have new experiences.

Case Colomba is in the Murfi area, a cluster of houses which, along with other clusters, run along the Busetana countryside and create an archipelago of rural towns which come together to form the Town of Buseto Palizzolo, a rural area where it is still possible to experience the unusual sight of a countryside area which is still alive and teeming with farming activities. In the past, the road from Elimi di Erice to Segesta passed by here. The countryside of Eastern Sicily has a look and appearance which distinguishes it from other areas, also due to the input of British entrepreneurs in the Eighteenth Century who developed the wine industry and gave new life to the activities of the farms.

The location of Case Colomba makes it the ideal starting point for day trips to the most interesting parts of Sicily and for lovely trips to the local crystalline and uncontaminated sea.
