• Free way A1 up to Florence. Take the exit for the A11 Direction "Lucca Viareggio". Leave the A11 at Lucca and after the pay toll follow the directions to Castelnuovo Garfagnana. Take the road called "Lodovica" on the left side of the river Serchio toward Castelnuovo Garfagnana. Reached Gallicano (approximately 10 Km before Castelnuovo and approximately 30 Km after Lucca) there is the sign for Barga that is located at around 4Km. As soon as you see the sign of the "Città di Barga" on the road called "Piangrande", take the first on the right in which there's written "Chiesa di San Bernardino". At the end of this street (approximately at 400 meters) you'll find "Casa Arianna".

• Free way A12 direction "Viareggio - Pisa". Reached Viareggio take the A11 for Florence. Leave it at Lucca and take the SS 12 until Bagni di Lucca. Reached Bagni di Lucca take the SS 445 following the directions for Barga. Follow the directions as above

• Free way A1 direction "Milano - Florence" until you reach Firenze. Take the A11 direction "Lucca-Viareggio". Leave it at Lucca and follow the directions as above
