The Abbey San Pietro in Valle is a splendid historical residence, located in Umbria between the Marmore Waterfalls and Spoleto. It sits softly on a plateau on Mount Solemn, 400 metres above the sea level and it is completely surrounded by the thick and luxurious vegetation that covers all the Nerina Valley. Upon arrival to the Abbey, you will be welcomed by Federica, Letizia and Chiara the three owner sisters who are managing the historical hotel.

The Abbey is the ideal place to relax and to take care of the own body and of the own well being, getting free from the tensions and finding health, energy and harmony.

The suggestive rooms are for the main part located in the antique cells of the Benedictine monks, or in the forestry of the convent and each one is different from the other ones: some have a fireplace, others shelves and nooks, wall closets, vestibules and loopholes.

The breakfast is outside in the cloister yard during the warm season. The buffet, rich and tasty, includes the marmalades of Chiara, the torts and the homemade cake, the fresh bread of Arrone, the fresh fruit of the farmer friends n addition to the fruit juices, the sausages, the cheeses, the yogurt, butter, honey, croissants and eggs on request.

The bar is in the reception and provides room service, in garden, in the cloister or in the refectory.

The Abbey is located inside the Park of the Nera River, 13 km away from the Marmore waterfalls. Here the nature is still selvage, the waters fresh and crystalline. Each activity we offer you is always an emotion not to be forgotten! Rafting, relaxing walks, trekking, mountain bike, horseback riding…the choice is yours!

But what makes it unique is the mystic and out of the time atmosphere that prevails in all the Abbey.
