Casa Lora is an ancient country house, located in a panoramic area on the "Punta Imperatore" promontory on the island of Ischia. Originally built for grape harvesting, it was later transformed into a farm holiday centre. Surrounded by vast natural areas, partly cultivated with orchards and partly gardens and fields, there are several hidden places for total relaxation. When the weather is good, the meals (breakfast and dinner) are served beneath a pergola where you will enjoy the most spectacular sunsets. The cuisine is based on local products and typical Neapolitan dishes with their ancient tastes and smells.
Nearby, you will find the main thermal parks on the island which is famous for its swimming pools with various temperatures set amongst a luxurious nature. It is easy to get to the beaches and bays and their fine sands, cliffs and rocks. Alternatively, see the chestnut woods and the rocky peaks of Monte Epomeo, the non-active volcano from which the island draws the beneficial properties of its muds and its waters.
A thermal spring in the garden of Casa Lora and its vapours provides the guests with a Turkish bath.
At no distance at all, you will find the main cellars where the exquisite local wine is produced. There is also a local horse-riding centre where you can organise horse-riding trips in the surrounding areas.
On request, Casa Lora leases scooters, cars and pleasure boats.
