Casale Colombaio di Toiano is an old stone farmhouse situated in the heart of Tuscany, near Siena, in a strategic position on the eastern slopes of Montagnola, along the ancient road Via Francigena and the boundaries of Monteriggioni and Sovicille, not far from Florence and San Gimignano, well known for its 14 medieval towers. The farmhouse is set in a spectacular setting, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, woods and fields of sunflowers, whereall the colors of nature rhythmically turn as the seasons change.

The careful restoration of the farmhouse, has preserved the original architectural features, creating good solutions in harmony between tradition and comfort, which well satisfy the desire of the traveler to spend pleasant moments in the history of these places and oasis of tranquility without sacrificing comfort. The accommodation, specially designed to ensure maximum privacy for guests, is composed of two apartments with two bathrooms and few bedrooms finely restored and furnished with care and especially designed for those who love intimacy. Pearl of the whole structure is the garden, simple but nice, giving very pleasant feeling of comfort as the singing of birds that will delight you at sunrise.

Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by Paolo and Giuseppina who manage personally and family the accommodation. Upon request, Giuseppina will delight you preparing very good dinners made with local products like the beefsteak Florentine style, or or the roasted "Cinta senese" (roasted pork of a typical Sienese variety of medieval origins), preceded by the typical Tuscan hors d'oeuvres, crostini (small pieces of toast) as well as the Tuscan various kinds of cold measts and salami.

The Colombaio Toiano is under the protection of "Monuments and Fine Arts and Environmental Office" having retained its own historical, architectural and environmental identity throughout the times.
