Hotel La Locanda

The Hotel la Locanda is in the historical centre of Volterra close by the Roman Theatre and to the "Porta Fiorentina". Our Hotel is new and has been converted from an ancient Monastery of Nuns. The former owner of this Palace, in the second half of 1700's was Anton Filippo Giacchi, historically and culturally famous for his study about Etruscan history .In remembrance of him, you can find also today a memorial plaque over the entrance of the Hotel.

Hotel La Locanda offers classic rooms with free Wi-Fi, Satellite TV and a minibar. Some rooms offer a spa bath or a hydromassage shower.

Breakfast is buffet style, with a selection of cold meats, cheeses and cakes. The restaurant serves local food and wines.
