The Monastgero Eve was a Benedictine monastery founded in the thirteenth century aorund Cortona (an ancient Etruscan city), and between Florence and Perugia. Today you will be staying in a inn completely renovated in 2003 and divided into apartments. Here you will spend a holiday immersed in the beauty of the countryside with the possibility to have multiple services that will make your vacation more enjoyable.

There is a large living room (50 sqm) with antique fireplace, entrance hall (10 square meters) from the garden room with adjoining kitchen (24 sqm), dressing rooms and 2 bathrooms with showers. Private parking, green space for outdoor dining, barbeque, swimming pool (m.6x12), outdoor patio for dining indoors. Away from traffic and surrounded by a large garden is ideal for those who want peace and rest at Cortona and Lake Trasimeno. It is ideal for families or groups that can come together and share the lounge and use our communal kitchen and fireplace.

The property accommodates up 30 people divided into the eight apartments, all very spacious and very comfortable each decorated in traditional Tuscan style. Each apt.has its own garden furnished with garden umbrella, tables and chairs and equipped with barbecue.

Monastero S.Silvestro is near Florence, Rome, Assisi, Perugia, Siena, Urbino, Lake Trasimeno, Chianti and other typical Italian towns. Many cultural activities take place in Cortona, for example the Show of National Market of Ancient Pieces of Furniture (on the last week of August/first week of September), the Tournament of Archidado (June), the National Fair of copper (April), theatrical activities and concerts throughout the year which take place in the open-air garden in summer.
