Welcome to the Cimatori Bed and Breakfast, a little jewel right in the heart of Florence, just beside the famous Cathedral and Palazzo Vecchio, with its famous "Piazza della Signoria" square and the home of Dante Alighieri. The Cimatori Bed and Breakfast is on the second floor of a historic building (without a lift). All the various areas are finely furnished and the original wooden ceilings make the atmosphere even warmer and cosier. Art lovers can visit the artistic sites of the past just outside the B&B's front door and enjoy the delightful tastes of traditional Tuscan cuisine in the surrounding areas, just a short walk away.

All the rooms have private en-suite bathrooms with showers, air conditioning, double glazing, telephones and a connection for your portable PC. Some rooms can house up to five people and you can choose between a double bed or two singles.

The Cimatori Bed and Breakfast offers its guests a continental breakfast. You can relax in the living room and listen to some great music, read a good book or enjoy a nice cup of tea. Whatever takes your fancy!

The Cimatori Bed and Breakfast takes its name from Piazza Cimatori, the ancient square which once boasted the San Martino del Vescovo Church, in the parish of Dante Alighieri. An arch from the main entrance can still be seen. In the past, the buildings here were used to clip the 'tips' from spun wool (which is why it is called "Cimatori" (the "Clippers"). Now, you can see the ancient Oratorio of the "Bonomini di San Martino" with fine frescoes by Antonio Del Chierico.
