Balestrate is located on the North Western coast of
Sicily, half way between Palermo (40km) and Trapani(50km).
Within easy reach of Casa Ruffino lie Scopello, the Zingaro Nature Reserve, Segesta, and Erice.
Just a little further away, to the West, there are the
towns of Marsala and Mazara del Vallo.
Travelling Southbound, along the Sicilian coast, visitors soon come to Sciacca and Agrigento.
