Villa il Colle" is on Montisoni Hill, halfway between the ancient 13th-Century monastery which gave its name to the Hill, and which you can easily get to on foot, and the characteristic town of Antella, right beside Florence. Green hills full of olive groves are part of a truly magnificent panorama here, which covers all of this extraordinary city of art. The Villa, which dates back to the 14th-Century, has been cleverly restructured by the owners, and the rooms have all mod cons and are extremely elegant and refined, just like the rest of the building.

All the rooms have private en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, VCRs and top-quality linen.

There is, for example, a lovely double-room "Suite" which boasts as many as seven windows with magnificent views of Florence and the Cathedral. This Suite, which can be upgraded to either a triple or quadruple room, if you require, and has a splendid private en-suite bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub with shower.

The "Violetta (Violet)" Room, on the other hand, is a deluxe double room to which a third bed can be added, if required. This Room is extremely spacious and comfortable and the bathroom has a hydro-massage bathtub and shower.

The two other rooms, "Margherita (Daisy)" and "Peonia (Peony)", are no less fine. They are double rooms which can also be used as singles. Both are furnished in the old Tuscan style and have private en-suite bathrooms with showers.

In Winter, you can enjoy the fine breakfast here in the special Breakfast Room. In Spring and Summer, you'll prefer to enjoy it in the lovely garden here in the Villa. As well as the secluded garden, guests here also have access to a fully-equipped kitchen with cookers and microwave ovens, mini-bars, a billiard room, a cellar for wine tasting, a laundry service (not included in the price) and an Internet service.
