A new charming guest house in the heart of Florence

The Residenza della Signoria opened in september 2008. It is a charming town house suite located in an elegant and ancient palace in Via dei Tavolini right behind the corner with Via de' Calzaiuoli, the most famous Florence street connecting the Dome to Signoria square. Thanks to our enviable location in the historical centre, just few steps far from the Uffizi gallery, you can reach quickly on foot the main monuments and the most exclusive boutiques in Florence. The accommodation is elegant, refined and provided with all the facilities; your staying will be unforgettable, a dream in the Renaissance atmosphere of Florence city centre.

The property is situated at the third floor of the building provided with a comfortable elevator (up to 5 people capacity). In a charming and elegant environment we offer 6 silent and large rooms overlooking Via Calzaiuoli or with Dome sight or a view on the typical red roofs of Florence.

Each room is characterised by wooden floors, 4 meters (13 ft) high drawer ceilings with exposed beams. Classic style handmade furniture decorated by wise Italian artisans and luxurious upholstery.

The comfort is granted by KING SIZE beds (200cm x 180cm or 79in x 71in), independent air conditioning, private en-suite bathroom with glass shower box and bidet, double glazed windows, hairdryer, LCD TV 19" with DDTV, electronic safe box, free internet WI-FI and wired connection, telephone with direct access to outer line. All rooms are no-smoking rooms.

Some Junior suites large about 26 sq. m. are also available, with living room zone, table and 2 armchairs. These can also be made up with 1 or 2 extra beds without reducing the room habitability. The extra beds are not just sofa-beds but real beds able to provide the same comfort as standard beds.

The breakfast service is not included in the room rate so everybody is free to choose upon his own wishes. Our continental breakfast can be requested at any of the bars and cafes located in proximity of the property.

The big shared kitchen is freely available for all our guests at any time, so not only for breakfast but for lunch or dinner too. It is possible to prepare light meals so to have the chance to spare big budgtes. The kitchen is provided with stove, microwave oven, fridge, basin and kitchenware.

We strongly recommend to come to Florence without a car, however we have an agreement with a garage close to us (less than 500 meters) which will apply a special reduced rate from 25,00 to 30,00 euros, depending on car size and value, per 24 hours car parking.
