Just 12 km from Siena, Tenuta di Corsano is wonderfully situated in the midst of classical Tuscan countryside and offers truly breathtaking views over the surrounding vineyards and over to the clay hills. In such a peaceful atmosphere, you can almost go back in time and do all those things that are no longer common, such as baking your own bread in the outdoor oven, picking organic vegetables fresh from the garden and fruit from the trees, eating 'al fresco' under the brilliantly starred sky of Tuscany. At the Tenuta di Corsano, you can easily leave your worries behind, immersed in an oasis of peace and tranquillity, you may sip the wine and taste the local food and let the time go by. It is a wonderful base for a holiday with a difference, and is easily accessible to the highlights of central Tuscany.
The Villa is located only 12 km from the walled medieval city of Siena, in the little hamlet of Ville di Corsano, whose Romanic Church known as 'La Pieve' dates back to 11th Century and is world known as an extraordinary example of that period (percorso Giubileo). In the centre of the town there is a tower which dates from medieval times, one of the four from which the Fattoria has taken its origins. There is also a castle, Il Castello di Grotti that hosted the prestigious Piccolomini family
