REVIEW: We stayed in the annex part of the hotel about 2 blocks from the main hotel in April 2012. We had no issues at all with this as the annex had wonderful large rooms and a lovely outlook across a neighbouring courtyard full of greenery and trees. We even heard lawns being mowed - in Venice! The room was lovely and spacious, bathroom also lovely. We could hear some noises from adjacent room at certain times although this did not become too obtrusive. The decor was venetian and completed with a beautiful murano light fitting. The breakfast was perfunctory and nothing to get excited about, however I believe overall Bernardi Semenzato was good value and well located in Venice. We were about 5-7 minutes from Rialto Bridge and conveniently close to railway station (via vaporetto number 1) and also the departure point for the boats to Murano and Burano in the opposite direction. Would recommend to others.

REVIEW: We stayed at one of the apartments, seperate from the hotel. We had the apartment to ourselves even though it was peak period and there were other bedrooms to share the facilities. This was a bonus which we really appreciated the hotel doing for us. We prepared our own breakfasts. The apartment was well appointed and very good value for money.
Venice is not a large island and most areas of the island are within easy walking distance of the apartment. The apartment was reasonably close to the railway, but there has not been any development of a seedy 'railway area' in Venice. Closeness to the railway was a bonus for those 'mandatory trips' to other cities in the region, to Lake Garda and to the Dolomite foothills.
Even though we were not technically staying at the hotel, we were able to use the internet facility at the hotel. Thanks. People at the hotel were very helpful to us.
One small hiccup, there were no written instructions for the washing machine and it's opperation system was not familiar to us!

REVIEW: If staying on the 3rd floor, no elevator can be an issue for some. Our room was lovely with that authentically perfect Venice romantic feel! Only a couple of stops from the main train station by water shuttle/taxi and a 3 minute walk from there to get checked in with Venice at your door step to stroll and enjoy countless shops, restaurants, bars, Casino and more. Breakfast was light. Overall, we loved our stay and would return!!

REVIEW: Pleasant small hotel for budgetary quiet rest and studying of Venice;
The good personnel, helping to learn Venice. The hotel is located so, that six areas of city are absolutely near all.
The hotel has liked.

REVIEW: We had rooms in the annex and they were really lovely, the staff were friendly and very helpful too. Breakfast was the usual continental type and very pleasant.
The hotel is located very close to the Vaporetto and located in an ideal place for getting around by foot is you prefer.
We would stay at the hotel again and defo recommend it to others, in fact we already have.
