Mare in Campagna
Enjoy the marvels of the Marche region between the countryside and the sea

Bed and breakfast farm-house "Mare in Campagna" (sea in the countryside) was conceived to bring value to a place which is very close to the seaside though maintaining the features of the traditional rural environment of the Marche region. The farm-house is situated between Porto San Giorgio and San Benedetto del Tronto, in Campofilone, a sunny village dating back to the Roman empire period, immersed in the green Marche hills and well known for its delicious "maccheroncini".

Here, where the natural environment is still untouched, you will get rid of daily life stress and enjoy the country life rhythm between the green fields and the blue sea.With a few steps you will reach the quiet and large beach which is just in front of the house: the sea, which has been awarded a blue flag certifying its cleanness, is not deep. The sand is white and fine.

The villa is composed of independent apartments of different sizes furnished in a pleasant country style. All of them have air-conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen.Each apartment has a private garden where you can have meals, relax or sunbath while your children play. Every window has a sea-view.

The surrounding area, dotted with ancient colonic houses, is well preserved and lovingly cultivated and will allow you to taste the typical products of the region. Furthermore, you will have the chance to take long and relaxing walks in the country, go mountain-biking or visiting the historical cities nearby: Ascoli Piceno, Ripatransone, Fermo, Offida.

During summer you can take part in fruit picking, in September you can experience grape harvesting and wine making, in October you can try olive picking and squeezing. You will discover the taste of newly laid eggs and fresh vegetables cultivated in the farm.

Besides, you will have the opportunity of tasting and buying organic products from the farm: extra-virgin olive oil, jams, fruit jellies and syruped fruit.

At breakfast you will be served the farm's organic products processed according to traditional methods: jam, fresh or syruped fruit, tarts, bagels, fresh bread, eggs and the best olive oil.

During summer breakfast is served in a hall overlooking the sea, while during the rest of the year it is served in the apartments, which are fully equipped to prepare meals.The corn and barley fields, fruit trees, vineyards, olive fields, and the hospitality of people at "Mare in Campagna" will allow you to spend a relaxing holiday rediscovering tastes, colours and images that you had forgotten.
