A B&B dipped in the natural reserve of Nebrodi Park

"Il Casale di Arturo" is situated in the country near Militello Rosmarino dipped in the northern reserve of Nebrodi Park, on those rocks which from Cozzo Picasi slope down to the Rosmarino river bed. All around are magnificent vineyards and old olive trees, oak and beech woods, the ideal place for trips and excursions. The country-house has got three floors and five comfortable characteristically furnished rooms, combining the pleasure of a party holiday without forgoing one's own privacy.

On the first floor, on a wide balcony facing the wonderful view of the Nebrodi area is the solarium. On the ground floor is a wide hall equipped with satellite TV, a nice fire-place on the corner and a cellar where you can stay while tasting Sicilian wines, served with typical appetizers; moreover, you can enjoy reading in the little library where you will fìnd any kind of mysteries, secrets, legends and curiosities of our land: Sicily.

The Nebrodi area offers many different types of excursions: "the Nebrodi Ridge" runs across the natural reserve from west to east for about 70 kms joining to the main roads which run through the woods from north to south. This is a long excursion route which, winding up the only high altitude damp areas in Sicily in the mountainous zone of the woods, runs through almost unpolluted natural landscapes. Along the route marked by road signs, you can stop and relax in areas of great naturalistic interest.

Travelling along a road with a fine view for 8 kmts you can reach the coast rich in lovely seaside resorts and from some of them you can shortly get to the Aeolian Archipelago made up of the so called "seven sisters": Lipari, Salina, Vulcano, Alicudi, Filicudi, Panarea and Stromboli.
