Familiar atmosphere and professional service at the doors of Sorrento

The Hotel Girasole is situated at the doors of Sorrento and it is a family run structure. The hotel was opened in 1970 and the very first rooms were built in the home of the Ruocco family. In recent years the building has grown and it has been enriched with new and modern facilities such as the swimming pool. The Hotel is approximately 800m from the centre and 500m from the beach. From here you can easily reach on foot both the Sorrento and S.Agnello train stations.

The Hotel has all the modern comforts you could wish for. The 39 rooms, perfectly furnished, have bath or shower, hairdryer, telephone, TV and air conditioning. Many of them have a splendid view of the Vesuvius dominating the Bay of Naples.

In the morning a rich buffet breakfast suitable to all needs is served in a room overlooking a beautiful garden. Room service is available on request.

A bar with a spacious lounge, a TV room and a garden with orange and lemon trees and a large variety of flowers are at guests disposal.

The marvellous swimming pool, open in the warm months, is surrounded by greenery and equipped with umbrellas, deckchairs, a solarium and a nice gazebo where you can shade from the very hot summer sun. The pool bar offers a good selection of local dishes and sandwiches, cold drinks, ice cream and home made cakes.

Hotel Girasole also offers a large terrace with a panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples and of Vesuvius.

If you wish, your pets can spend their holiday with you.
