The "Locanda del Borgo" farmhouse residence is in Umbria, in the town of Pietralunga, immersed among the fine countryside of the "Alta Val Tiberina" Valley region, just a few kilometres from Tuscany and Val di Chiana and Val d'Orcia. A strategic position, then, for a trip into Italian history and the Italian countryside, in the wine and oil areas and the cities of art, where nature and culture guarantee you a whole series of unending wonders, spanning the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, as you pass through the hills and plateaus where there is no overpopulation and people still live in harmony with the environment.

Originally a 15th-century agricultural complex, the "Locanda del Borgo" farmhouse residence is now a finely furnished Patrician residence, which offers all mod cons and a whole range of services. Spacious and elegant, all the rooms and suites here are furnished in a different style and all have private en-suite bathrooms, TVs and telephones. The suites, in particular, offer a unique romantic atmosphere: they all have amazing panoramic views and their own lovely private little terrace. Guests here can also choose big apartments, which have kitchens with everything you need!

The "Locanda" has been designed and set up so that guests here really have a wonderful time, amid an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. There are several places where you can just relax, perhaps on the comfy sofas and armchairs, at the warm fireplace.

The Restaurants offers typical local seasonal produce: fine wine, truffles, cheese and olive oil, all of which come from the local farm companies. The quality of these is the expression of Umbria's love of good food and commitment to only producing the very best.
