Maso di Villa

Less than one hour away from Venice, among the delicate profiles of the Treviso hills, home to top-class wines, surrounded by the lazy rhythms of silent nature, you will find Maso di Villa, an old colonial home which is now a refined country house, an enchanted place which combines respect for old traditions with originality. Named Maso di Villa after the old name of the home, this building from the end of the 19th Century, halfway between a private home and an old country inn, will provide gusts here with an unforgettable dream-like holiday.

On the upper floors, in what was once the hay barn, there are six charming rooms, all different and customised with major elegance. The smart combinations of fabrics used in the rooms creates a sense of freshness and harmony and all the rooms have splendid views of the garden, the vine grove and the surrounding hills. The colours of the walls are fresh and lively and different in every area, ranging from gay okra to discrete sage and from soft lilac to lively orange. Warm colours are repeated, then, in the wood strips used in the ceilings with visible beams and the furniture based on local old-style simple art. The soft floral fabrics, the fin de siècle beds, the very fine curtains made from embroidered voile: all of these give the home a romantic Provencal atmosphere.

The spacious living room, which opens onto the garden, offers a wide range of trips into the countryside and is ideal for relaxing as you chat away or read a nice book. The garden is spick and span and nicely designed, the ideal place for letting your hair down and getting used once again to nature: here, you can enjoy afternoons of sun and enchanting summer evenings, sipping an aperitif or some tea, accompanies by home-made cakes, even in the mid afternoon. And there's more: our main attraction is the breakfast based on home-made pastries and cakes, exquisite jams, marmalades and jelly, home-made, of course, and with nice original tastes.

There are also orange and other fruit juices, which come in all shapes and sizes, hot bread, fruit, cereals, yogurts and local honey. On request, you can have savoury menu, which includes eggs, ham, dairy products and local cheeses. In Summer, you can enjoy your breakfast in the open air, among the flowers in the arcade or in the garden.
