Located in the northern part of the city of Mantova, the "Corte Posta" B&B is an old rural court surrounded by a large garden where you will find the right combination of privacy and freedom, as well as extra special treatment from the owners themselves, Teresa and Cesare. It is said that, at the time of the Gonzaga family, the building was used as a place for changing horses before entering the city from the old "Porta San Giorgio" city wall entrance. Today, it is still possible to admire the wonderful panorama on offer, with the castle, towers and bell towers providing the background, at sunset, to an unforgettable scene.

The owners have created a Bed & Breakfast in a wing of the building where guests can choose from 3 very pretty rooms, all with private en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning.

The room in front of the bedrooms, then, has a fridge and a kettle, as well as lots of information about the charming city of Mantova.

In Winter, breakfast is served in the Dining Room but when the weather is nice you can enjoy it on the splendid veranda beside the building.

The B&B owners, then, offer guests here a safe internal car park, free use of bicycles for visiting their extraordinary and ancient city, and a shuttle service (also free-of-charge) to and from the train station.

The Corte Posta B&B has special deals with certain restaurants in Mantova and, on request, can provide qualified tourist guides for visiting the city and surrounding areas, including a service for the deaf.
