Located in the North-West of Sardinia and just a few kilometres from Alghero, the "Nidi della Poiana" Bed and Breakfast welcomes guests to a characteristic country home which has recently been restructured and which is furnished in a lovely ethnical rustic style. The B&B, surrounded by an age-old 14,000 square metre olive grove, offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Gulf of Alghero, a charming city with a Catalan soul which brings together its history, dating back thousands of years, and a whole range of enchanting natural landscapes.

The "Nidi della Poiana" Bed and Breakfast has five large comfortable bedrooms, all boasting private en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, mini-bars and LCD TVs. Guests here also have access to a lovely living room with a fireplace where they can enjoy the sumptuous breakfasts. The B&B also boasts large external areas and verandas surrounded by peace and quiet and facing the sea: here, you can enjoy thrilling sunsets over the sea of Alghero, with the stunning promontory of Capo Caccia in the background. The lovely local-style garden also offers barbecue equipment and nice areas containing everything you need for a nice open-air meal or to just relax. Your stay here, then, will soon be made even more enjoyable as we are about to open the swimming pool in Spring 2005. The B&B, then, has satellite TV.

There is a whole series of possible excursions nearby: start with Alghero, a magnificent city by the sea, set perfectly in one of the finest natural jewels in Sardinia: the "Corallo" Riviera. For those who love unspoilt nature, the place to go is the beach at Sant Joan, with its natural dunes and rich vegetation of pines and junipers. And you simply cannot miss visiting the water-pond at Calich, in the most southern part of this stunning sandy beach.
