Thanks to its top location between the Chianti Region and the cost "Podere I Gobbi" is a good starting point to visit great part of Tuscany: Firenze, Pisa, Livorno and the cost with its long beaches are less than 45 Minutes away.

Driving eastwards among the typical Tuscan hills through Palaia and Montaione you will get some of the most famous and charming places of Tuscany as San Gimignano and Volterra.

We offer accommodation in 7 apartments with private pool and some extra services such as breakfast, cooking class and Italian lessons.

In the beginning the Podere I Gobbi consisted of an old main house and a big barn. After an expert restructuring work the buildings hold now 7 completely independent apartments, all of them different in size, furnishing and plan.

The main house consists of 5 apartments, the former barn holds two more apartments and the reception. The apartments have typical Tuscan country style interiors such as wooden beans, cotto tiles and some original piece of furniture.

Every apartment has central heating system, TV - Sat, mosquito nets, kitchenette in the living room, one or two bedrooms and a bathroom with toilette, washbasin, bidet and shower box. They all have a private space in the garden provided with table and chairs. 2 of the apartment has a dishwasher in the kitchenette.

At our guests' disposal there is a laundry room with a washing machine (with charge) and an iron and an ironing board (free)

The weekly prices include bed linen, kitchen cloths, towels, use of pool, deck-chairs, garden umbrellas, table tennis and barbecue.
