REVIEW: Room was acceptable, third bed (single) needs new mattress. There were some issues with the bathroom, the shower head was non functional and needs replacement. The checkin/out process was poor. The negotiated rate from the website was very clear that it was the final total. However, upon check-in it was not clear to the desk clerk that we had already paid. We were also asked to pay tax. Upon checkout, we were asked to pay the full amount again. The reservation/booking procedures definitely need some work. Breakfast was good, but it should be clear on the website exactly what the "breakfast" is supposed to include or not include. This will prevent people from having expectations unfulfilled.

REVIEW: This place was clean and large enough for us. Bathroom was recently updated. It was in a good location to all the main sights in Rome with a bit of walking. We got internet service. The staff was helpful and plesant. The breakfast was simple but fine. The only things about our stay was that we should have kept the windows closed at night with the air conditioning on (even though we did'nt need it) because the street is super noisy. Garbage trucks come a few times each night. Next time I would request a room in the back. There is a great bar/restuarant below for a night cap.

REVIEW: Overall, a great place to stay in Rome! We found the staff to be very helpful and accomodating. Our rooms were ready when we arrived mid-afternoon and they allowed us to leave our bags for a few hours on the day we departed. We had adjoining rooms with a shared bath and found them to be clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. The morning coffee and breakfast treats were a nice touch and enough to get you going. We found several great restaurants nearby and enjoyed the friendly neighborhood feel of the location. Be prepared to walk! It is a distance to transportation and local sites. However, we (2 middle-aged Mom's and 2 teenage boys) walked to the train station, Colosseum, and Spanish Steps area with no problems. Just allow time for wrong turns, gelatto, and neat little non-touristy shops you wouldn't see if not on foot! As a side note, the booking agent is the best we've worked with! The ground transportation they offer from the airport and cruise port is reasonably priced, timely, and the driver was a genuinely nice guy. Thanks Boncompagni, we really enjoyed our stay!

REVIEW: Had a wonderful 3 night stay at this great B&B - a great price considering its position, the room was spacious, had a great bathroom, a lift, friendly helpful service and a good breakfast (you have to like chocolate). It is out of the touristy hustle and bustle yet is only a 20 minute walk to the Spanish Steps with Via Veneto only a 10 minute walk away. We enjoyed it so much that we recommended it to a friend and her daughter, who stayed there a fortnight after us. We would certainly go back if we visit Rome again.

REVIEW: Ci siamo trovati veramente molto bene! Il luogo è vicino al centro e i servizi di bus e metro sono facilmente raggiungibili. I locali sono puliti e il personale, nonchè i proprietari, molto gentili.
