REVIEW: We spent two wonderful days at Le Fumarole. We did not have a car and took the circumvesuviana from Ercolano to Naples and Sorrento. Daniella and Grazzia helped us with transportation to the station at Ercolano. Since we did not have a car, they offered us the opportunity for dinner at the Fumarole and of course breakfast. The setting is magical, overlooking the Mediterranean and the B and B is charming, beautifully decorated, restored and spotless. We were able to meet other guests and chat with them about their travels, but we could have stayed to ourselves had we so desired. There was a balcony on our room, and the garden offered chairs and tables as did the glassed in terrace (or sun room). Our hosts bent over backwards to make our stay exceptional, and we would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately we had booked rooms in Sorrento for the following night. We would love to go back another year.
