During the summer luxuriant hedges of lavender and rosemary bushes perfume the air, squirrels run along the tree branches and at night the only sound to fill your ears is the chat of the nightingale song.

One of the largest international indoor riding school (named Lo Scoiattolo) is opposite, so horse-riding lovers can walk to it. The school also has facilities for children to ride horses and to go ponies trekking etc. The near Valdera airfield organizes the powered ultra-light flying school, the free flight school, model flight schools and tourist flights on the splendid coast and Islands of Tuscany.
