B&B Il Moscondoro

After years of experience in the tourism field, Gemma and Massimo decided to open their house to those who, for holiday or business, wish to stay in a familiar and comfortable atmosphere where hospitality and warmth make you feel at home. Il Moscondoro B&B is situated in the relaxing Tuscan country, and surrounded by medieval villages rich of history and culture as San Miniato, Palaia and Montopoli. Gemma and Massimo are at your disposal to book your visits to museums, tours, hiking, or easily find out addresses and information during your stay by providing maps and brochures of the area.

On the first floor the B&B presents 4 double rooms and 1 small "Suite" composed by double room and small room with sofa bed, ideal for families with children or teens During the stay our guests will take the main entrance key with them to make them feel completely independent.

The rooms, all different one from the other, are taken care of personally by the owners and have private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, TV, kettle for tea. Sponges are changed daily while bed linen every 3 days. Our guests can enjoy free use of equipment for babies (dressing table, sterilizer and babies' bottle warmer, games, cot (on request in advance). We also provide our guests with a small kitchen with fridge, electric plates and a microwave oven that can be useful to heat the milk for babies or prepare snacks for your children. Rent a DVD player with a broad list of movies.

Breakfast is served in your room or you can enjoy a rich buffet in the beautiful ground floor hall with original crossed vaults, or in the garden. On request our guests can book dinners with typical products of the area. We are also affiliated with restaurants of the area.

It is possible to visit Tuscan wine cellars and oil-mills with tasting of local products. We offer use of the fax service, transfer service to/from the railway station of Pontedera and to/from Pisa airport. Laundry service on request.

Our house is surrounded by a large garden with playground for children, and gazebo, to enjoy pleasant open-air days. For sports-lovers it is also available mountain bike rental service. We do regenerating massages with fragrant oils and essences. On request we can organize cooking courses for our guests. Our house is no smoking free: Smoking is not admitted in every room.

Small and middle-sized Pets, well-educated and sociable, are welcome upon agreement with the management. In the garden and in common areas dogs must be kept on a leash and eventually you have to put them a muzzle.
