REVIEW: What a wonderful place to call home for our 8 day stay in beautiful Roma. Perfect accommodations, perfect location and the best of service possible. Serena's assistance in getting reservations, suggested places to eat and shopping locations saved tons of time. She even arranged transportation from the port at Civitavecchia to the B&B and then to the Airport. Thank you so much Serena. Suite [#]5 was large, clean and with a huge patio to boot. ...and with a washing machine? Did that save the day after getting off an 7 day cruize ship. She even remembered my Birthday with Champagne and pastry. What more can you ask for? When we return to Roma, we'll be booking at Casa di Serena. Thank you so much Serena.

REVIEW: I spent one week at A Casa di Serena. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised. From the minute we arrived, Serena and her staff was very accomadating and so very friendly. The rooms were very clean and it was a very safe building. The B&B was am excellent location being close to the Vatacan, metro and endless resturants. Whatever I needed, Serena and her staff would bend over backwards to help. Not sure what to do, just ask. Not only do I recommend A Casa di Serena, but I plan on going back there at least once a year.

We could not have asked for better service. We hope to return to Rome one day, and we will know just where to stay. Very convenient to the main sites in Rome.

REVIEW: This was a nice quiet haven close to the Vatican city and the metro making it easy to get to all the sights. They were very accomodating making our stay very enjoyable. One note for other North Americans, adjoining bathroom can mean down the hall. We had exclusive use of a private bathroom but we were surprised to find that adjoining does not mean attached. We would definetly stay there again.

REVIEW: Dear Serena To stay at your "little Casa" was so perfect. We had the most wonderful vacation and thanks to you and your staff, we had lovely and clean room to stay in at night. On the day at our arrival, you welcomed us with a glass of champagne - how sweet. And you were also very helpful with information to our sightseeing and events, with maps and good advice. Every day, we had our bed made and the room and toilet cleaned - just perfect. We will recommend you here in Denmark, that's for sure, and if ever we comes to Rome again, we shall stay at your Casa - no doubt about that!

REVIEW: We had a good time at the hotel, which was charming. The rooms were neat, tidy and quite. The service was very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts as well. The hotel is situated conviniently near an MTR line, which can take you to all the sights you want to visit in Rome and right next to the Vatican.

REVIEW: Definitely a "must" stay b&b while visiting the capital of love and history! Serena receives you with a warm welcome and explain all to you incl. all sites you shouldn't miss while in Roma. The room we stayed in was spotless and very comfortable (we were a party of 5) and it's location is walking distance to the city Metro so access to all cites is very easy and convenient. We will return to Roma in the future and 'A CASA DI SERENA' is the only place we will stay at!

REVIEW: The host Serena was outstanding. She greeted us with coffee when we arrived, showed us our room , advised us of the times she was in the prmises, showed us where to get breakfast at a hotel cafe & answered all our questions about Rome. The room was very well appointed with champagne on arrival, chocolates, toiletries , tea ans coffee facilities and a great surprise our bed made each day and our supplies replenished. Overall this was the best accommodation we have stayed in and it is like a boutique hotel. Outstanding value.

In quanto alla accoglienza e l´attenzione é stata buona come la buona predisponibilitá che ave- te avuto con noi. Complimenti per la decorazione della casa realmente un bel gusto. REVIEW: We stayed at Casa di Serena for 8 nights for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We scoured online reviews trying to find the perfect, but reasonably priced accommodation for our stay - Casa di Serena did not disappoint. When we travel, we want try to immerse ourselves in the local culture, this B & B made this very easy to do. It truly was like staying with family. We stayed in the red room with the balcony; it was a wonderful place to sit in the evenings. There is an amazing local market nearby where we shopped for our lunch each day (fresh bread, cheese and wine - bring your own bottle - even a water bottle and they will fill it up with great, cheap wine). Breakfast is at the local pub - warm croissants and cappuccino along with the rest of the locals. The location was perfect for us as well. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the metro stop, which we used almost every day. There were plenty of local restaurants around for amazing, delicious dinners - all within a 5 - 10 minute walk. Needless to say, we can't recommend Casa di Serena enough for travelers who really want to experience a slice of Roman life. We will definitely stay there again.

REVIEW: My wife and I stayed at the Casa di Serena for 6 nights in March and could not have been satisfied with our lodging and with the wonderful staff. Traveling to italy to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary began with a relaxing stay in Rome. We were met at the airport by the driver we requested through Serena and were driven in smooth comfort directly to the front door of Casa di Serena. We were met by her assistant "Rudel", who showed us to our room and checked us in within minutes. Our room was spotless and having mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, Serena had a bottle of Prosecco and some chocolates and biscotti with a card wishing us a happy anniversary. There was even an inflated heart shaped balloon tied to our bed wishing us happy anniversary. In the morning, we met Serena and she was a wealth of information advising us of which buses and metros to take to our site-seeing and providing us with a street map of Roma. The B & B is tastefully decorated with a comfy living room area with lots of art books for the guests to look through and a dish that was always full of mints and sweets. The bathrooms were spacious and very clean. The location is very near the Vatican and all the bus stops and metro stations are within easy walking distances. Every morning we had coupons we could redeem at the Antico Caffe Doria for cappucino, tea, orange juice and a cornetto. The caffe was right across the street from the B & B. Overall, we were more than satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend A Casa di Serena to anyone wishing to stay at a nice, quiet and very relaxing atmosphere. Keep up the good work, Serena! You run an excellent Bed & Breakfast. If my wife and I ever return to roma, we will look forward to staying here again. Mille Grazie!
